Your licence to the app
Your licence to use the Roundside app is Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. By downloading or using Roundside you agree to it, and to the points below that are specific to Roundside.
Estimates are not guarantees
Hole positions and finish times are estimates. They come from your phone’s location, your pace and a model, and they can be wrong or late, especially with poor signal or on courses that need manual hole changes. Do not rely on them for anything that matters, and do not treat an estimate as a promise about when anyone will finish or arrive.
Not for safety or emergencies
Roundside is a convenience for sharing a round with friends and family. It is not a safety, tracking or emergency service. Do not use it to find someone in an emergency or to check on someone’s wellbeing. If someone may be in danger, call 911.
Do not use it while driving
Do not use Roundside while driving, and do not look at it on the course when doing so would be unsafe, for example while others are hitting or while you are driving a golf cart.
Sharing
You choose whether to share a round and with whom. Anyone who has your link can see the round details described in the Privacy Policy. If you turn on optional location point sharing for that round, anyone with the link can see the latest point and its accuracy, not a route. Only share links with people you trust, and only share your own rounds.
Roundside Plus subscription
- Roundside is free to follow. Each Apple ID gets one free tracked/shared round. After that, sharing another round needs a Roundside Plus subscription, monthly or yearly; without one, the round is still tracked on your iPhone. The price and period are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in the Settings app on your iPhone: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
United States only
Roundside is offered only in the United States. It is not available for download or purchase elsewhere.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: do not try to break, overload or reverse engineer it, do not use it to harass anyone, and do not use it in a way that breaks the law.
The service “as is”
Roundside is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, Roundside is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. We may change or stop the service, and may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do.
