How Roundside estimates when your golf round finishes
Roundside shows a finish window, earliest to latest, worked out from your pace so far and the holes left. Early in a round it is a rough guess, marked as an early estimate.
What moves it
The window can change as your pace changes: faster or slower holes and waits shift it. When you pause, the page keeps the last estimate until play resumes. If your phone loses signal, the page keeps the last estimate and shows how old it is rather than guessing a new one.
What it is not
It is not an exact GPS tracker, and it is not a promise about when someone gets home. It estimates finishing play, and it can be early, late or wrong. On courses marked for automatic detection Roundside works out each hole itself; on manual courses the golfer taps Next hole, and the estimate uses those advances the same way. A round is finished when the golfer confirms it in the app, or ends it early. Losing signal never counts as finished.
